Shake, Rattle, and Roll...
Crazy start to the week. My entire family has been on edge lately, waiting to see what happens with my sister. She was due on Friday, and the doctors decided to induce her today if nothing had happened. And so, she entered the hospital at 7:00 this morning.
At 6:30 this evening, I officially became an uncle. My new niece is (and no, I had NOTHING to do with the decision, nor did I even make any suggestions) named Sydney.
Yes, I'm getting old. I've become the "funny uncle" in so many ways...

Yes, the job of an Uncle is fantastic... My nieces worship me (and rightfully so) because I'm not their daddy, telling them what to do. :-D
