Beyond Late for Class...

Students at Asheville High School in Asheville, North Carolina might feel a bit anxious about returning after summer vacation, but now they have another reason to worry.

They're school might be haunted.

Surveillance footage of the school's rotunda recently captured an anomaly on film. What appears to be a shadowy figure can be seen roaming the room and leaving through the hallway in the early hours of the morning.

While public relations director Charlie Glazener says he doesn't believe in ghosts, he's having a difficult time wrapping his mind around the video. This skeptic is slowly becoming a believer.

I saw this on cnn.com yesterday. I'm not 100% convinced yet. Maybe they'll capture something better in the future. In this digital age with the ability to purchase cameras and software cheaper than ever, I just can't believe more people aren't putting their haunted locales under 24/7 surveilance. I do know of an Oklahoma group that set up a permanent research station in a purportedly haunted abandoned hospital. Their website would have live feed all the time and people would periodically send in screen caps, etc..

Pretty nice capture. Don't know whether I agree with the woman's idea that the student is angry or even that it's a student. It does seem to have movement and shape...Nice find!
