Altered States...

No, you're not losing your mind. There is a new banner on this blog! It was a gracious gift from author/graphic designer Cullan Hudson, who you may know from the Strange State blog! Not that he felt there was anything wrong with mine... but as many of you know, I welcome changes!

The other banner used Everett Covered Bridge as the background... a photo I had taken during a ghost hunt years ago. Though I do like it, I don't want to be known as "the Cuyahoga Valley ghost guy from Ohio" forever!

I hope everyone likes the change, and I can't thank Cullan enough for the unexpected surprise. Besides, the headstone does carry with it a hint of irony that some of my closest friends will possibly find amusing...

Thanks, everyone! I'm glad you enjoy it. The statue is a funerary statue in the Santa Magdalena cemetery, which rests in the shadow of Old San Juan's El Morro fortress. There are some spectacularly beautiful statues there as well as a necropolis of mausoleums.
